ABOUT ME

Hi there, my name is Emily. I’m a dual board-certified Psychiatric and Family Nurse Practitioner offering integrative mental health care for people navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, OCD, life transitions, and personal growth. My approach is grounded in the connection between the mind, body, nervous system, and lived experience. I take time to understand what matters to you, what may be getting in the way, and how to support the person you are becoming. Treatment planning is individualized and may include medication management, ketamine-assisted therapy, mindfulness, somatic and nervous system-based practices, lifestyle support, psychedelic harm reduction, and collaboration with your broader care team. My work is informed by the belief that growth begins with awareness — including a more embodied understanding of your nervous system, your patterns, and the ways you relate to yourself, others, and the world around you. Together, we work toward aligning with what matters most while developing tools to support meaningful growth and change.

  • Our first visit is a time for me to get to know you, understand what is bringing you to treatment, and begin developing next steps together. A brief intake form will be sent ahead of time so I have basic information before we get started, allowing our time together to focus on a more meaningful conversation about your goals and next stepss.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Integrative psychiatry is a whole-person approach that understands mental health in the context of your lived experiences, biology, lifestyle, relationships, and values.

Treatment is collaborative and may include medication when helpful, lifestyle support, mindfulness or somatic practices, and attention to the relational patterns that shape how you feel, cope, and connect.

  • Psychedelic harm reduction is a supportive, clinically informed approach for people who are curious about or planning to use psychedelics outside of clinical treatment. Most psychedelics other than ketamine are not currently FDA-approved, though they are being studied for trauma, depression, existential distress, and personal exploration, with promising results.

With advanced training in psychedelic medicine, I stay current with the research and provide knowledgeable guidance around risks, contraindications, medication interactions, preparation, and integration to support safety, clarity, and meaning-making.

Please note: I do not facilitate non-FDA-approved psychedelic substances.

  • Absolutely. Care is best when it is coordinated and your team is working together. As long as I have a Release of Information signed, I am available for ongoing communication as needed.

  • When used intentionally and within a framework of preparation and integration, ketamine can be a powerful tool for supporting symptom relief and serving as a catalyst for healing and meaningful change. For treatment-resistant depression, research supports an initial induction series of 4–6 sessions; however, treatment is individualized and collaborative, with recommendations adjusted based on response and clinical needs.

  • I am out-of-network but happy to provide a super bill for you to submit to your insurance plan for possible reimbursement.

    • Psychiatric Consultation (75 minutes) $400

    • Follow-up (30 minutes) $200

    • Extended Follow-up (50 minutes) $375

    • Ketamine Assisted Therapy (2.5 hours) $800

  • I ask that cancellations or rescheduling requests be made at least 48 hours in advance. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, missed appointments, or no-shows are charged the full session fee.

When possible, I make a good-faith effort to reschedule within the same week to avoid the cancellation fee, though this depends on availability and is not guaranteed. Exceptions may be considered for emergencies, sudden illness, or circumstances outside your control

  • It’s important to connect first and see whether moving forward feels like the right fit. You can schedule a Discovery Call where we’ll review what is bringing you for care, your hopes for treatment, and whether working together makes sense.
